Traumschüff is going on tour again—for the fourth time in a row! The theater crew will celebrate the kickoff and season opening in their home port, the Kiebitzberg Shipyard in Havelberg.

At 4 p.m., the floating stage will open with „Treue Hände – Folge 2“ (Faithful Hands – Episode 2). Admission is free, donations are welcome. The ArtHotel team will provide barbecue food and drinks.

About the play

The wall has fallen, and the country is changing rapidly. Between hope and disappointment, between a gold rush atmosphere and fears for the future, the East German economy is being reorganized—or simply deindustrialized, depending on whom you ask.
Right in the middle of it all is Gitti, who is ambitiously trying to carve out a place for herself in the new system – wäWhile her boyfriend Dirk füSocialism and her best friend Sylvia lost their jobs.ämpft. The fact that Gitti is now also taking a job at the Treuhandanstalt is putting their relationship to the test.

Tour information

This summer, the Theater im Fluss will travel along the Elde, Elbe, Mecklenburg Lake District, and the entire Havel River back to Havelberg. Between May and August, theater and music will be performed on the floating Traumschüff stage at a total of 16 locations. Various discussion formats and theater education projects will also take place as part of the tour.
