Felix Reuter - DER VERFLIXTE BACH!

Felix Reuter is a pianist, musical comedian, improviser and entertainer all rolled into one. He does not play finished compositions, but improvises the music history of 300 years and chats in the most pleasant way.

J. S. Bach is known as one of the greatest figures in the history of music. He is known as a man who laid milestones for a new kind of church music. His music is usually presented in a dignified manner and with a serious background. - This program is different. Felix Reuter takes his audience on a journey of discovery: What is behind the „Air“? What special feature of his famous Toccata in D minor still puzzles musicologists today? What was mercilessly stolen from Bach's musical oeuvre? Which works were created from it? How close are Bach's basso continuo lines to jazz? What would have happened if Beethoven and Bach had known each other? - These and many other questions are answered humorously and cheerfully at the piano. answered. An entertaining excursion that strains the stomach muscles and provides absolute listening pleasure. A must for every classical music lover. You've never heard classical music like this before!
