The Havelberger Arthotel Kiebitzberg® has also been a home for art and culture from the very beginning.

The goodfather of political cabaret, Dieter Hildebrandt, was the godfather of our stage on 21.06.2013 with his program „Ich kann ja auch nichts dafür“. Since then, the guest book has also included other well-known and new names such as Hellmuth Karasek, Wladimir Kaminer, Max Moor, Peter Sodann, Jörg Schüttauf & Holger Umbreit, Denis Scheck, Harald Martenstein, Lars Reichow, Sebastian Krämer, DOTA KEHR, Adam Rafferty, Elena Kolesnitschenko, and many more.

Many of the artists who came to this small town, this small neighborhood, curious went as good acquaintances, as friends.

It is only logical that since 2017 is invited to the “Kunstquartier”. Classical music, cabaret, theater, exhibitions, readings, events for children - the ArtHote has it all.

We have a cooperation agreement with the Theater der Altmark in Stendal. This means that both children's programs and full-length plays can be performed in Havelberg. There are also independent stages such as the Parktheater Edelbruch, the Papilio Theater and „Brot & Spiele - die ambulante kulturelle Versorgung“.

The „Kiebitzberg in Concert“ series is a firm fixture in the program, with the 25th concert taking place this year.

„We are now taking the house to the 6. year. I'm quite satisfied with the development,“ says the hotel manager, looking back on many well-attended events. She agrees with her husband Andreas that classical music remains a permanent fixture in the Kunstquartier, even if it doesn't attract quite as many visitors. The salon orchestra of the Brandenburg Concert Orchestras Eberswalde designed in the meantime many evenings and is firmly booked again in 2018. In April, it will bring „Peter & the Wolf“ to Havelberg as a concert performance.

Art exhibitions have also been part of the ArtHotel format from the very beginning. Works are currently by the Havelberg painter Kurt Henschel and the sculptor Klaus Thiede to discover.
