At the end of the 1920s, Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy, known in this country as Dick and Doof, are at the height of their art. Without any malicious intent, they get into breakneck situations and sow chaos and destruction. Cars and houses, the symbols of the „American Dream“, turn into heaps of scrap metal in their presence. Stan and Olli are only afraid of their own courage and female charm. They promise a grandiose spectacle, wit and good humor.

Stephan Graf v. Bothmer accompanies the films in a pointed and virtuoso manner and sets the focal points and relationships so skillfully that the gags come across as completely fresh and spontaneous. You will laugh tears!
