Profile

Julia Trintschuk, born in 1997, has been taking piano and guitar lessons since the age of four with Anatoli Trintschuk, Prof. Mario Sicca, Martin Wiedmann, Prof. Johannes Monno, Ivo and Sofia Kaltchev and Mateus dela Fonte, among others.

From 2013 to 2015, she was a junior student at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts. During this time, she took part in numerous competitions for both piano and guitar with great success. In 2013, she received a first national prize in the guitar duo category, which was combined with a special prize from the EGTA (European Guitar Teachers Association) and a special prize from the Stiftung Musikleben. In fall 2015, she won first prize and the Grand Prix at the „International Bratislava Guitar Youth Competition“ and was named „Laureate 2015“. This was followed in 2016 by a first prize at the Hannabach Competition and the special prize for the best interpretation of romantic music at the Forum Gitarre Wien.

Since 2009, she has regularly taken part in various guitar festivals, where she has received masterclasses from outstanding personalities on the guitar scene, including Pepe Romero, Scott Tennant, Pavel Steidl and William Kanengiser. Her busy concert career, which she began at the age of 16 with the „Concierto de Aranjuez“ for guitar and orchestra in the Stadthalle Reutlingen, has taken her to Mexico, Russia, Poland, Italy, Spain, Slovakia and the Netherlands.

Julia Trintschuk is currently studying guitar at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts in the class of Mateus dela Fonte.
