The Havel as an element of peace and relaxation, a hotel as a place of encounter - with these visions, the first construction measures began in the fall of 2010. After a long planning and construction phase, during which the condition of the property repeatedly shocked us and caused the planners to grow gray hair, the first phase of the major construction project was completed. On August 15, 2011, the ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® guest house opened for business.

With the opening of the main building, including restaurant, large concert hall, winter garden, sun terrace, bar and ArtGallery Almost a year later, we have achieved what we envisioned at the time: what we believe to be a harmonious hotel ensemble. Behind the individually designed Kiebitzberg® rooms furnished with furniture, the variably deployable Function rooms and the modern, sophisticated gastronomy is a coherent concept and an outstanding team effort.

Many tourists have now discovered the cathedral and island town of Havelberg for themselves. Well-developed cycle paths and waterways, sights and natural beauty can be found here.
